Code Vein

After appearing in a large variety of events for at least the past year, we finally used this opportunity to taste Code Vein - one of Bandai Namco's newest games, often referred to as the "Anime Souls". We tested about 20 minutes of the game, to just feel if he was similar and offer a taste similar to Souls or not. Surprisingly, he culminated in having a unique unique identity. One of the most surprising is the presence of AI support characters who will continue to accompany you on the way, which in fact contribute significantly in the fight. This AI is actively attacking and attracting the enemy's attention, making your trip tipped more manageable. We also love the user-interface implementation that looks stylish here, from color selection to existing fonts

One of our shorts is how "smooth" it feels, something that is essential for games with taste like this. Either because of a framerate that may run at 30fps or maybe, just an animated one. But for a game that relies on timing and motion accuracy, this is certainly something to be considered. While in terms of gameplay, in addition to special abilities and skills that can be accessed via shortcut, the main character is also armed with a variety of weapons that have different sensations vary. Weapons that need to be driven with two slow-tipped hands, but cause great damage, and vice versa. The monsters we encountered in this short game session also comes in a variety of forms, but the typical Soul series, have a kind of attack that can be read from just the animation square they do.

Code Vein is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian setting with vampire themes, including "gifts" from the consumption of blood, and other supernatural abilities. The game was announced in April 2017, and will be released worldwide in September 2018.
